Career Day: Bug Exploration Zone
Our team visited a local school in Hampton Roads to show students what pest control is really all about.
At Hayward Termite & Pest Control, we believe protecting homes starts with educating our community. That's why we were proud to participate in Career Day at a local school right here in Hampton Roads.
Our team set up two interactive stations that gave students a hands-on look at what pest control professionals do every day — from identifying common bugs to inspecting for signs of pest activity.
Bug Exploration Zone
Students got up close with real pest specimens, learning to identify common household bugs and where they like to hide.
Bug Inspection Station
Armed with magnifying glasses, students practiced real inspection techniques — just like our technicians use in the field.
The kids were incredible. They asked great questions, got hands-on with every activity, and showed real curiosity about the science behind pest control. Some of them might just be future pest control pros!
